Grafil  Polypropylene Ropes

These ropes are ideal for a variety of general marine purposes. Tests have proven that these ropes have greater elasticity than manila ropes. These ropes are unaffected by mildew, marine growth and most chemicals.

Garfil MAXIMA-- these ropes are produced from blended polymers specially for low weight and high strength.

Product Features :

• Approx. 40% more strength than conventional Polypropylene ropes

• Special blend of raw materials ensures excellent abrasion resistance.

• Better value for money as compared to conventional ropes

• Weight to strength ratio is less, facilitating downsizing vis-a-vis PP ropes

• Unaffected by acids and alkalies

Grafil Nylon Ropes

These are one of the strongest and most elastic synthetic ropes available for mooring applications. Among the heaviest of natural and synthetic fibres, nylon's specific gravity is 1 .14.

• Better shock load absorption

• Unaffected by rot, mildew and most of the chemicals

Grafil Maxiflex - these ropes are of composite fibre construction made from high tenacity polyester and polypropylene yarn in a specific composition.

Product Features :

• Specific gravity is equivalent to Nylon

• Higher strength compared to Nylon

• No loss of breaking strength in wet conditions

• A multifilament cover ensures excellent abrasion resistance

• Retains flexibility even after prolonged use

• Controlled elongation and high energy absorption

• Cost effective and lower weight per metre as compared to Nylon

• Low snap back

• The ropes can also be supplied as per OCIMF guidelines

Package Details

Standard coils are available in 165 metre / 220 metre lengths with eyes at both ends. Custom-made package size and length can be manufactured according to specific requirements.
